Editor first

I bring 25 years of experience across art, academia and freelance media work, combining practical, creative and conceptual skills developed through my own practice and in collaboration with others.

I have a PhD funded by the AHRC, have lectured in UK higher education and maintain an established art practice that includes award-winning video and sound work that has been broadcast on Radio 3, selected for the London Film Festival and exhibited internationally.

Recent clients, collaborators and publications include The Nigel Charnock Archive, Kingston School of Art, We Are Publication, JOAN Publishing, KOKO online journal, Camden Arts Centre, Swedenborg Film Festival, and numerous individual academics and artists.

I think of myself as an editor, drawing on my early training in documentary film. My experience teaching fine art and media at undergraduate and postgraduate level has made me an attentive listener and skilled facilitator. As an artist and researcher myself, I bring my own experience of developing and communicating ideas to our conversations, alongside a genuine interest in your work and where it might lead.
